-You wake up in the morning and your wonderful roommate presents you with nutella and has filled your room with balloons! You decide to eat the nutella on your new favorite thai snack of puffed rice balls. mmmm...nutella has never tasted so good!
-you learn about thai dates and days which segues into your thai teacher bringing you a plate piled high with thai custards and little bean paste candies in the shape of fruits
-mid way through thai class, your program director stops class to bring in a chocolate cake with lit candles and everyone starts singing happy birthday adapted in thai "wan gert Caitlin" and you proceed to get chocolate cake all over your thai notes
-your new friends outdo themselves with cards, gifts, etc
All in all GREAT day so far!
The plan is dinner out tonight with a side of karaoke! Wish me luck!
